Performed in musical collaboration with sound alchemist Yuj, won't she do it! is a ritual for hard times, a practice for surrender. This dance of dissolution and creation exalts life and the Mother(s).
May the fertile waters of the earth gestate all possibilities….May the ground hold us up as we reach for the lushness above. May the rain quench the eternal thirst. May laughter soothe the broken hearts. May this dance shake what is frozen. May these songs illuminate what is hidden.

This ritual weaves the ways practices of reverence to and with motherhood. Serving tea to my own mother and grandmother, channeling the living spirit of the waters, nourishing the audience with sweet oranges
