May the fertile waters of the earth gestate all possibilities….May the ground hold us up as we reach for the lushness above. May the rain quench the eternal thirst. May laughter soothe the broken hearts. May this dance shake what is frozen. May these songs illuminate what is hidden.

A celebration of fertility, matrilineage, and the fertility of Mother Earth.

This ritual weaves the ways practices of reverence to and with motherhood. Serving tea to my mother and grandmother, channeling the living spirit of the waters, nourishing the audience with sweet oranges
